Hourly Rate

Piano Tuning is based on the hourly rate that is charged by the PNCC for Administration or committee administration staff – this rate can be found at https://www.pncc.govt.nz/council-city/fees-and-charges/planning-services-fees-and-charges/.  We use this rate as a datum to keep inline with inflation, however we believe the skill set required to tune a piano is far above that of administration staff.

A normal tuning should take about 2 hours from leaving the workshop to returning.
